      The 8 oz ripstop cotton fabric, first adopted in 1968, replaced earlier cotton poplin for improved durability and tear resistance in tropical combat conditions. Design refinements include hidden pocket buttons to prevent snagging, the removal of pocket drawstrings, and articulated knee pleats to enhance mobility in the field.

      Finished in an authentic olive green tone, with color and texture closely matching original, these pants balance historical accuracy with everyday wearability — a true essential for military collectors and vintage enthusiasts alike.

    Great light weight trousers, they get a nice patina after a few washes, love the fabric! Length is ever so slightly short but works ok. Went for size small and fit is good but snug. Lean athletic build 77kg 179cm Size chart was accurate

    US Army 5th Model Tropical Jungle Fatigue Pants

    Once again, very impressed with the sheer quality and attention to detail offered by Olderbest/Bronsonmfg - now seem to have quite a few of their items! The is the second pair of pants I've had from the and these are not a disappointment: excellent quality and attention to detail. In terms of waist, I normally hover around a 32/34-inch waist and the medium is good for me. Be aware that the waist sits very high - I think they've used the original specs - which might come as a shock when compared to modern style of fit which can sit very low below the hip. I'm really loving these and am really pleased I took the risk of buying with these guys last year - I've spent a lot of money on another, Japanese, brand of similar clothing and the quality from theae guya is spot-on. I'm looking forward to buying some of their winter stuff later on in the year.
