DESCRIPTION

The USMC adopted the P-41 uniform in November 1941. It was initially intended to be worn for work and training. Still, with the outbreak of the war, The USMC immediately put the wear-resistant and comfortable workwear to use in combat, and the P-41 became known as a combat uniform.

The P-41 uniform consists of one jacket and pants. The P-41 jacket has one pocket on each side of the waist, no pleats on the back, and the Marine Corps badge and the USMC are printed on the jacket's left breast. It has four copper-plated metal buttons on its front placket that has the initials of the USMC. Its cuff has two metal buttons and a buttonhole that can be used to adjust the size of the cuff. The design is straightforward and bright.

The P-41 uniform was widely used throughout world War II in the Marine Corps and the Pacific Theater. As for the P44, which emerged later in World War II, was distributed in a small number of units.
