The Lot S501 reproduces the WWII Version Type I Denim Jacket and is a true homage to the classic. Ranger Overall Mfg custom 13.5 oz denim fabric for this denim jacket. Styled after the 1940's denim jackets were manufactured during WWII, and production was forced to be simplified - the number of pocket flaps, number of buttons, thread count, etc., was all limited due to the rationing of materials. All details are true to the S501, and it features a four-button front, exposed copper rivets, and a single open chest pocket. Complete with a cinch back and branded buttons but does not use laurel wreath buttons - these were more commonly associated with earlier models. And the buttons have been oxidized and aged, giving them an interesting vintage style.
