13 REBELS Motorcycle Club is a historic American Motorcycle Association (A.M.A.) sanctioned Motorcycle Club. Founded in 1937 by the 13 top A.M.A. motorcycle racers in Southern California, the 13 REBELS M.C. strives to carry on the spirit and tradition of the original founders of this club.
1953’s iconic biker flick The Wild One starring Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin, was loosely based on two actual California motorcycle clubs of the day having a highly charged clash in the small town of Hollister, CA. Brando portrayed 13 Rebels leader Shell Thuet.
The club mascot for 13 Rebels MC is a Black cat, an interesting prototype of a World War II tank battalion 'Black Tom' recruiting poster. Annual Ring team was fascinated by the legendary motorcycle club and the fun mascot, and they reached out to Jackpot, national president of 13 Rebels MC, for permission to use the original 13 Rebels MC logo on the T-shirts.
